Nicola Yiannoulis is a Senior Policy Expert at the European Banking Authority and is responsible for the topics of cloud, cyber and IT risk management. She has been at the EBA since inception and has led the EBA’s work on IT risk supervision since 2015, producing the EBA Guidelines on ICT risk management under SREP as well as the EBA Recommendations on Cloud outsourcing. Nicola follows these topics in European and international fora and is involved in subgroups of the G7, Basel, European Systemic Risk Board, and the European Central Bank.

Prior to the EBA, Nicola worked at the EBA predecessor – Committee of European Banking Supervisors and the UK financial services authority. She has a degree in European politics from the University of Southampton and an MSc (with Distinction) in International Finance from CERAM Sophia Antipolis, European Business School.
