Marc Ziegler is Head of Architecture and Data-Warehouse at DZ BANK AG. He has been working in Data-Management and Data-Integration projects for over 20 years with a focus on Finance and Risk-Management (ie BCBS239 implementation of a group wide Data Warehouse).
Since 2019 he has been Co-Chair of the BIRD Steering Group for the Banking Industry. The BIRD project is a collaborative project of the ESCB and the Banking Industry involving over 30 banks from all over Europe developing and maintaining a "Banks' Integrated Reporting Dictionary".
