Anders Borg

Bio

Anders Borg was Minister of Finance (2006-2014) and responsible for wide ranging reforms of the tax and welfare system, the entrepreneurial climate and managed the economy during the great financial crisis and was deeply involved in finding solutions to the Euro area crisis.

Borg is industrial advisors to Nordic Capital. He is also the Chairman of Sehlhall Fastigheter AB’s, Checkin.com, and DanAds Board of Directors, a member of the Board of Directors of LKAB, Nederman, Stena International, Viaplay Group and Rud Pedersen Group, as well as senior advisor to East Capital, Amundi and Kinnevik. Anders has served on the Boards of a number of companies in the telecommunication, fintech and public administration sectors. Anders has previously worked for Citigroup, ABN AMRO, SEB, Tele2 and Millicom and has been an active member of the World Economic Forum for many years. Anders’ educational background is in economics, economic history, political science and philosophy from the universities of Stockholm and Uppsala.
