Bio
Hans works for the banking supervision faculty of the European Central Bank as a Senior Team Lead for banks’ internal risk models. After doing on-site inspections for more than ten years, he shifted his focus to the development of tools facilitating such inspections. Together with a (mostly internal) team, he has developed an app to support banking supervisors in the writing and reviewing of on-site inspection reports on internal models over the last years. The app also integrates NLP techniques for text classification and semantic comparison. Hans holds a PhD in mathematics from University of Vienna.
